Metro Dumaguete College (MDC) proudly launched its Partner-Sponsored Scholarship Program and officially awarded scholarships to fourteen deserving student beneficiaries from various college departments during the Scholarship Awarding and Agreement Signing Ceremony held on October 14, 2025, at the MDC Conference Room.

The event brought together scholarship grantors, student recipients, parents and guardians, as well as representatives from the school community, symbolizing a strong collaboration between MDC and its valued partners. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the institution’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible education and empower students through meaningful partnerships with industry and community stakeholders.

During the ceremony, each beneficiary was formally awarded their scholarship, followed by the signing of scholarship agreements between the students and their respective grantors. To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, a brief orientation on scholarship benefits, terms, and responsibilities was also conducted.

In her inspirational message, Dr. Alwina De Mira, Vice President for Administration, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the scholarship partners for their generosity and steadfast commitment to helping students pursue their dreams.
